Bicentenary of St George’s, Belfast

As part of their bicentennial celebrations, St George’s Church, Belfast, is hosting its second annual lecture on Friday, 24 April at 7.30pm. This will be delivered by Rowan Williams, former archbishop of Canterbury, and current Master of Magdelene College, Cambridge. His talk will be followed by a discussion chaired by the Rev Dr Bert Tosh, former senior producer of religion with BBC Northern Ireland. Those attending will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

The title of the lecture is ‘Fundamentalism, Christian and non-Christian’.

The lecture is free to members of the public. It is anticipated that it will be well attended. Since space is limited those planning on going to the talk are encouraged to turn up early. For further enquiries see the advertisement: Rowan_Williams_lecture-2
