Date for your diary: COIHS Winter Conference (online) 12 November 2022
The Church of Ireland Historical Society is pleased to announce that it will host its winter conference in a virtual format. It will be held on Saturday, 12 November 2021 and both members and day participants can hear a bumper packed day of six speakers via Zoom Video Conferencing.In a break from the norm, the conference will start at 10.30am, plenty of time to grab your morning tea or coffee and relax from the comfort of your couch! Confirmed speakers are Prof Anne Lodge (DCU), Dr Robbie Roulston (DCU), Prof Brian Walker (QUB), Dr Ian d’Alton (TCD) and Dr Ida Milne (Carlow College). The research will be delivered by Stephen Heffernan.

You can register online via the membership page (see below) and instructions on how to connect to the conference will be provided in due course. Members of the Society have free admission. There is a day fee of €10 (or £10) for non-members to assist with the Society’s expenses, but anyone can become a member for €40 or £40 (please note our student rate is €15 or £15). If you wish to join the Society but are unable to hear the papers you will be given exclusive access to our podcasts which now include more than thirty papers dating back to 2013.
