COIHS prize-winner announced

The committee of the Church of Ireland Historical Society are delighted to announce that Mr Jeffrey Cox has been awarded the postgraduate prize for 2015.

Mr Cox, who is pursuing his PhD at University College Dublin under the supervision of Dr Tadhg Ó hAnnracháin, won the award for his essay entitled ‘The pastoral ministry of the established church in County Kildare, c. 1591 to 1633’.

Jeffrey will receive the COIHS prize at our next conference at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, in November.

The Society would like to thank all those who entered the competition and congratulate Jeffrey, in particular, on his award.
