COIHS conference: 1 November 2014
There’s just a week to go before the Church of Ireland Historical Society hosts the second of its bi-annual conferences. This is more special than usual as we will be using the newly refurbished Music Room in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin. Enter via the usual means (the door to the Chapter Room, or the building furthest right facing the cathedral gates). The conference begins at 11am on Saturday 1 November. Tea and coffee will be served from 10.30am.
We have four great papers in store. They will be delivered by Dr Caronline Gallagher (Maynooth University), Mr Jeffrey Cox (UCD), Reverend Canon Patrick Comerford (Church of Ireland Theological Institute) and Dr Martin Maguire (Dundalk Institute of Technology). Full details of the conference are available in the programme attached.
Everyone and anyone are welcome to attend. You can register to become a member of the Society by visiting the ‘membership‘ link, which includes a number of great deals. Alternatively, you can just turn up on the day for just €10 to assist with conference expenses.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
